Site Preparation: Major overhaul and assembly of oil-immersed transformers should ideally be performed indoors. If a maintenance room is unavailable, a temporary installation site must be selected. It is best to choose a location near the transformer foundation for final positioning, or to perform installation directly on the foundation pad. An outdoor site should be covered with a tent. The temporary site must have convenient transportation access, flat and sufficiently wide roads, and firm, level, and dry ground. It should be远离 (located away from) chimneys and water towers, and the distance to nearby buildings must meet fire safety requirements.

Man-hour Quota: (According to national standards) The comprehensive man-days required for main body installation is 21. Tasks include: unpacking and inspection, positioning the main body, inspection of the core and windings, cleaning of bushings, conservator, and radiators, oil column testing, accessory installation, fabrication and installation of base plates and wheel chocks, oil replenishment, post-installation overall seal testing, grounding, and touch-up painting. Whether drying is required during installation is determined through inspection and assessment. If required, the core loss drying method takes approximately 20 additional man-days. Oil filtration requires approximately 3.38 man-days per ton. Man-days for commissioning are calculated separately.

Technical Procedure Development: Prevent the transformer core from becoming damp; ensure all connection points have good contact; ensure all seals are effective with no oil leakage; ensure the insulation of the transformer and the insulating oil.

Requirements for the Transformer Room: Must be a Class I fire-resistant structure; maintain sufficient safety clearances; have good ventilation; ensure the foundation is solid and reliable; ensure lifting facilities are in good condition.

Inspection of Core and Windings: Cover plate bolts are intact; no internal mechanical damage; no signs of oil seepage or leakage; gasket seals are effective; bushings have no surface defects; the distance between rollers matches the foundation rail gauge; no significant rust, paint is intact; all accessories are complete and undamaged.
